David Chaum

Name:David Chaum
- Pioneer of early cryptography
- Proposed Digital cash in 1982 blind signatures for untraceable payments 
- Released a whitepaper named security without identification: Transaction systems to make big brother obsolete
- Founder of Digicash in 1990 and developed ecash
- Unfortunately Digicash closed in 1999 and credit cards became the dominant form of electronic payments.

1985: Together With Israeli cryptographers Amos Fiat and Moni Naor he wrote the paper untraceable electronic cash
